Coterie is an innovative consumer brand that’s changing the baby care industry with its mission to make parents' lives easier. As Coterie has grown, the Executive team prioritized the need for a compensation philosophy that was both equitable and scalable - to show up for their employees the same way they show up for their customers.Â
However, the challenge lay in developing a system that would reflect the company’s values and address employee needs, while also being competitive in the market.
In collaboration with Assemble, Coterie's leadership crafted a two-pronged compensation approach: leveraging robust benchmarking data to target above market comp, while concurrently working with Coterie to draft an employee compensation program that received approval from the Board and could be implemented company-wide.
